2025 Client Superlatives: A Year of Family Photography in Buffalo
This has been an incredible year! I had the absolute joy of photographing so many different families and events, all with their own personalities, stories, and beautiful kind of chaos.
As I’m wrapping up the season, I started noticing little themes: the beautiful golden light, the snuggles, the silly and fun moments.
So instead of choosing “the best” photos because there’s no way I could choose, I put together 10 fun superlatives that celebrate the different moments that made me smile.
These are just a handful of highlights from the year. And truly, every single session brought something special. 💛
Now for some favorites…
1. Most Magical Golden Hour Glow
Sometimes the sun shows up and does a lot of the work. That golden glow, I’ll never get enough of it. If you’ve had a session with me and I have stopped talking mid-sentence because I saw beautiful light, you understand 😂
2. Best “Real Life Chaos” Moments
Kids running, parents laughing, shoes off in the sand… these show a bit of the beautiful chaos that is this stage of life.
3. Sweetest Snuggles
Just those special little fleeting moments with loved ones.
4. Best Fall Vibes
Buffalo fall did not disappoint this year. The colors were incredible, the weather was gorgeous (I did not have to reschedule a single session due to weather - unheard of 🤯), and these sessions captured them perfectly.
5. Most Playful Kids’ Energy
Kids being kids, doing what they do best.
6. Cutest Tiny Details
Little fingers, toes, the blink-and-they-grow-up details. Speaking for themselves 🥹
7. Favorite Storytelling Frames
Wide angle images that tell a story and show off the scene as well.
8. Most Epic Sky
I mean, the skies in Buffalo are ridiculously beautiful a lot of the time.
9. Most Joyful Laughter
This kind of laughter can’t be staged. It just happens and the results are incredible.
10. Wedding Appreciation
I photographed one wedding and was the second photographer at several others and I had to show some of these beautiful days in this post. It’s a huge honor to be a small part in such a big and special day for these couples and families.

Looking back on these sessions, it reminds me how every group of loved ones brings something different and amazing. They are a reminder of how quickly time flies and how special it is to freeze moments. And truly, it is an honor for me to photograph these memories for families.
