Extended Family Photos

The laughter, the hugs, the history, together in one frame.

Your Family’s Story.

All in One Frame.

These are more than photographs. They’re a living record of your family’s story. The shared jokes, the familiar hugs, the way your dad still calls everyone by their childhood nickname. From the youngest baby to the most senior member of your family, everyone is part of the beautiful tapestry you’ve woven together.

Generations Photography Sessions give you the gift of freezing this moment in time, so you can relive it for decades to come and pass it on to those who will carry your story forward.

Plan your extended family photoshoot with ease.

A relaxed, heartfelt photography session celebrating the love that spans generations, captured in photographs your family will treasure forever.

What Families Are Saying

  • Amanda was helpful and proactive working with us to select a session location perfect for our family. At our session, Amanda was prepared and organized, engaged with our family, and truly captured great candid and posed shots.

    Tracy C.

  • From the moment she came into our home, I could see that we were going to have a great time. She had excellent suggestions, and made the adults, kids and pets feel very comfortable. We will definitely have her back again!

    Athena T.

  • Every summer when my children and grandchildren come to visit, Amanda meets us to take a photo of all of us and subgroups as well! She remains calm amongst the chaos and we always end up with photos that we love! She makes sure everyone looks natural and comfortable and it is reflected in the photo.

The kids grow, the grandparents age, and the little moments become the big ones. Let’s freeze a chapter of your family story.

FAQs

  • I recommend doing extended family sessions at an outdoor location. I have some favorite outdoor locations in the area to help you choose and you can check out my blog post here for some of my favorite locations around Buffalo.

These can also be done indoors in your home if you prefer!

  • Approximately 1.5 hours. I will get the whole group together, each individual family gets photos together, and then any other groupings your family would like. I send out a questionnaire prior to the session for you to complete to let me know which groupings are most important for your family to photograph.

  • My turnaround time is approximately 3-4 weeks.

  • We will reschedule!

  • I understand that sometimes unavoidable things come up or people get sick. If something happens, I am happy to work with you to reschedule your session.

  • I am always happy and excited to show my work, however I will never share your images without your permission and completely understand the desire to keep them private if you choose.

  • Extended Family sessions contain multiple family units and I have found it works much better to keep these all-inclusive, meaning you receive all the digital images, rather than having several different families try to narrow down what images to choose.
